About the Role

FusionTek is hiring a Helpdesk Technician to deliver exceptional remote technical support and client satisfaction. You’ll join a dedicated team that resolves a wide range of desktop issues and security alerts, translating technical concepts for non-technical users.

What You'll Do

  • Provide remote support for desktops and laptops, addressing break/fix issues, application installations, and user configuration.
  • Investigate and remediate malware alerts and assist users with MFA enrollment.
  • Diligently document, track, and escalate tickets through the ticketing system.
  • Keep the internal documentation platform current and accurate.
  • Collaborate with a talented team to deliver service from your remote workspace.
  • Periodically visit client sites and attend the office to collect shipments or equipment.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional IT support experience.
  • Must reside in the Tampa, FL area for onsite client support.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, and macOS.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Strong time‑management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote support.
  • Valid driver’s license for onsite visits and equipment pickup.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in an MSP/MSSP environment.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 cloud services.
  • Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS.
  • A+ and/or Network+ certifications.
  • Experience using a ticketing system; Autotask experience is a significant advantage.
