Responsibilities
- Maintain and support production systems running on InterSystems HealthShare, Cache, and IRIS technologies.
- Develop and implement strategies to automate operations and enhance software delivery and technical workflows.
- Enhance and manage CI/CD pipelines using automation tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
- Carry out system backups, recovery procedures, patch management, and ADFS integrations.
- Oversee certificate lifecycle management and coordinate updates across all environments.
- Deliver advanced technical support for HealthShare applications and associated middleware components.
- Install, configure, and maintain core HealthShare software, updates, and emergency patches.
- Assist with setup and integration of OAuth and Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication systems.
- Monitor system performance and health using monitoring platforms like Splunk, Dynatrace, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to resolve integration and middleware issues in cloud environments.
- Support team goals and take on additional duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional IT experience, including work in Federal Government contracting settings.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing, supporting, or managing production systems.
- Proven technical expertise with InterSystems HealthShare, Cache, and IRIS platforms.
- Experience automating infrastructure, testing, or deployment processes using Jenkins, Ansible, or comparable tools.
- Demonstrated experience supporting systems hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments.
- Experience building and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks, including SAFe, and DevOps principles.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux system administration, Apache configuration, Python scripting, and middleware setup.
- Experience managing large-scale middleware applications in enterprise settings.
- Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of working independently during off-hours in a production support role.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting systems within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare environment.
- Background in configuring and managing OAuth, SSO, and digital certificates in large organizations.
- Hold or eligible for AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate credential.
- Experience with healthcare data interoperability platforms and enterprise system integrations.
- Eligible to obtain and retain a government-issued security clearance.

- Candidate must be located within the continental United States or U.S. territories.
- Availability to work alternative shifts: either 3:00 PM to Midnight EST or 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM EST, Monday through Friday.
- Must be available for weekend coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST.
- Selected individuals must complete fingerprinting at an authorized government location.
- Subject to a background investigation as part of the hiring process.
- Ability to achieve and maintain a government security clearance is required.
