Responsibilities
- Handle prior authorization requests and complete associated documentation.
- Record details for new patients and incoming referrals.
- Schedule, modify, and cancel appointments for patients and providers.
- Enter patient demographics, diagnoses, procedures, and billing data into electronic medical systems.
- Support insurance claim processing, verify coverage, and respond to billing questions.
- Answer patient inquiries, provide accurate information, and route to appropriate staff.
- Help analyze clinical data, generate reports, and keep records updated.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
- Send medical records to authorized personnel and departments as instructed.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
