Integrity Management Services, Inc. (IntegrityM) is looking for a Healthcare Statistician to provide analytical and statistical data support for Medicare Fee-For-Service DMEPOS claims data. You will work independently and collaboratively to derive meaningful insights that guide departmental efforts and client decisions.
What You'll Do
- Perform complex statistical analyses of Medicare Fee-For-Service Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) claims data.
- Create reports on trends, significant changes, and other relevant factors from your analyses.
- Work with databases performing functions including data cleaning, maintenance, extraction, and importing/exporting data into various formats.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data mining and statistical analyses using SAS, MS Access, and Excel.
- Create materials, including reports, memos, data files, and presentations, to illustrate and communicate analytics findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide analytical support for internal quality reviews, audits, and client inquiries, validating results and responding to data-related questions.
- Refine database queries to generate subsets of databases and tables.
- Lead and/or participate in team projects and brainstorming sessions to assess methodologies for study designs.
- Remain informed regarding industry changes, trends, best practices, and applicable regulations, assessing their impact on the project.
- Seek opportunities for additional training to improve skills necessary to perform job responsibilities.
- Adhere to all applicable privacy, security, and confidentiality protocols governing sensitive and business confidential information.
- Perform ad hoc tasks and duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics/biostatistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in conducting statistical analysis and data mining with SAS, MS Access, and Excel.
- Experience with data cleaning, extraction, and management.
- Ability to create clear, concise reports and presentations of analytical findings.
- Strong communication skills to explain procedures and results to both technical and non-technical end users.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
