Responsibilities
- Lead the management of the product backlog and oversee configuration, testing, and deployment of digital solutions in rural health facilities and intelligence centers.
- Serve as the primary advocate for end-users, gathering insights and identifying challenges related to usability, workflow integration, and system performance through direct field engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
- Design and lead training programs and change management initiatives to ensure effective adoption of digital tools by frontline health workers and supervisors.
- Diagnose and prioritize technical and operational issues in collaboration with central product and engineering teams to ensure timely resolutions and product enhancements.
- Work across disciplines to strengthen data quality, support standardized reporting, and promote data-informed decision-making throughout the health system.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, internal guides, and user resources to ensure consistent knowledge sharing and institutional memory.
- Advance value-driven use cases by aligning product capabilities with measurable health outcomes, identifying opportunities for impact, and executing independently or with team support.
Work Arrangement
Position requires field presence with significant virtual coordination across international teams.
Team
Cross-functional teams operate in partnership with clients in the field, including central product and engineering units, Ministry of Health collaborators, and decentralized field teams.

- Applicant must be located in Malawi.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment is essential—working closely with small local teams while actively engaging in larger virtual collaborations with international colleagues and clients.
- Consistent and proactive communication via web-based collaboration tools and video conferencing platforms is required.
