Prime Therapeutics LLC was looking for a Health Plan Sales, VP - REMOTE

Prime Therapeutics LLC seeks a Health Plan Sales, VP to lead new sales initiatives within the new-to-blue and large health plan market segment. This remote position is central to the growth strategy of Prime's Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) business unit. You will focus on developing key relationships and sales strategies, with success measured by sales targets, finalist meetings, and lives won.

What You'll Do

  • Directly build and foster relationships with consultants, conduct discovery meetings, and advance awareness of Prime’s value proposition.
  • Work collaboratively with Health Plan Sales Development Managers and functional stakeholders through the end-to-end Large Bid selling process.
  • Conduct a thorough, qualitative review of RFPs with a focus on health plan bid deliverables.
  • Lead the development of dossiers (Bid-at-a-Glance) or Client Status Reports on assigned prospects to inform sales planning.
  • Engage with Prime’s senior leaders and subject matter experts to ensure sales department awareness of Prime’s capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department on sales campaigns, plan outreach, and meeting preparation.
  • Work with Health Plan Sales operations to maintain effective sales prospecting, database integrity, and pipeline reporting.
  • Work with Business and Functional Unit leaders to develop proposals that manage profit, revenue, and gross margin.
  • Identify gaps and lead special projects focused on improving effectiveness within the Health Plan Sales department.
  • Partner with Prime’s legal counsel and cross-functional stakeholders on contracting needs.
  • Provide day-to-day work direction, mentoring, and support to Sales Development Managers.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required.
  • 10 years of experience in business development, business-to-business sales, or sales support.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Management field and/or Health Insurance.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $143,000.00 - $243,000.00.
