At Héma-Québec, our mission is to save lives through the gift of life. We are looking for a Head of Workforce Operational Planning to lead our workforce strategy and teams, ensuring our critical daily operations run seamlessly to support this vital mission.
What You'll Do
- Deploy the operational workforce planning strategy for served sectors and ensure optimal provincial coordination.
- Supervise planning teams (scheduling and operational center) and guarantee the continuity of daily operations.
- Optimize systems, processes, and tools related to assignment, planning, and workforce management.
- Act as an expert consultant in work organization, job structure, HR indicators, and staff availability forecasts.
- Ensure regulatory and collective agreement compliance and represent the sector in labor relations negotiations and committees.
- Oversee time entry and claim management activities, ensuring effective collaboration with payroll.
- Ensure HR management of the department, including engagement, performance, skills development, occupational health and safety, and budget management.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in administration, industrial relations, or any other related field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience, including some in management.
- Proven experience in labor relations and a unionized environment.
- Good knowledge of workforce management and assignment systems.
- Good knowledge of regulatory environments.
- Perfect command of French (read, written, spoken).
- Functional knowledge of English (read, written, spoken).
