Bethel is looking for a Team Leader to take responsibility for a residential facility for adults with cognitive and psychological impairments in Fehrbellin. In this role, you will lead a team dedicated to enabling genuine social participation and living a person-centered approach with heart.
What You'll Do
- Create duty schedules and manage personnel resources aligned with individual participation needs.
- Drive the professional development of your team and collaboratively shape the implementation of social participation.
- Take on administrative tasks and maintain network partnerships.
- Act as the connecting interface between the team and facility management.
- Provide professional consultation to the team and offer support in crisis situations.
What We're Looking For
- A completed vocational qualification, e.g., as a Heilerziehungspfleger, Heilpädagoge, Sozialarbeiter, Erzieher, Altenpfleger, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience or enthusiasm for leading staff.
- Strong organizational skills and clear, appreciative communication.
- Genuine interest in working with people with psychological impairments.
- A professional approach to managing risks of self-harm and harm to others.
- A desire to take on responsibility—both independently and as part of a team.
- Openness to personal development through supervision and further training.
- A positive, loyal, and solution-oriented attitude.
Benefits & Compensation
- Active co-design of a five-day workweek in day shifts until 7 PM.
- One weekend shift per month.
- Compensation according to the AVR Berlin-Brandenburg-schlesische Oberlausitz collective agreement, classified in EG 8, with a full-time minimum gross monthly salary of €4,249.70.
