IBMC is hiring a Head of Web Development to lead and oversee all aspects of complex web development projects for our clients. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical liaison, lead cross-functional teams, and provide expert-level guidance on systems architecture and integration.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary technical liaison to clients, gathering requirements, clarifying scope, and ensuring alignment between client expectations and execution.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex web development projects, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables to meet high performance and quality standards.
- Translate business and design requirements into structured development plans, collaborating closely with product managers and designers.
- Provide expert-level guidance on systems architecture, scalability, and backend/frontend integration strategies.
- Oversee code reviews to ensure performance, security, and adherence to development best practices.
- Improve processes such as deployment, version control, and testing, promoting automation and reliability.
- Offer hands-on support for resolving complex technical issues across multiple projects.
- Drive consistent engineering practices across teams to ensure maintainable, scalable solutions and minimize technical debt.
- Foster growth within the development team through code reviews, documentation, and structured knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in web development.
- At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record managing complex, client-facing web projects, from discovery to deployment.
- Strong technical expertise in both frontend and backend development.
- Deep understanding of web architecture, performance optimization, and integration standards.
- Experience working with version control, CI/CD pipelines, testing environments, and deployment tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate technical language for non-technical audiences.
- Passion for mentoring and developing engineering teams.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
- Based in Indonesia.
