Lead and shape a growing engineering team building mobile applications that support patient recovery and long-term well-being. In this role, you'll guide technical strategy while staying actively involved in development, ensuring the codebase remains clean, maintainable, and aligned with real-world medical needs.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor engineers, supporting their technical growth and day-to-day effectiveness
- Drive the evolution of React Native applications across multiple product lines, including white-labeled and core mobile experiences
- Own the technical roadmap and make practical decisions that balance innovation with stability
- Collaborate directly with clinical and product teams to turn healthcare insights into accessible digital tools
- Implement and refine over-the-air (OTA) update systems for seamless app delivery
- Integrate modern development practices, including LLM-assisted coding and experimental multi-agent systems
- Ensure frontend experiences meet high standards for usability and accessibility in digital health
- Work across the stack, with exposure to Node.js, TypeScript, and Ruby on Rails backend services
- Establish testing standards using tools like Cypress and promote reliable, well-tested code
- Champion engineering best practices while fostering a collaborative, ego-free culture
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience building and shipping React Native applications at scale
- Hands-on leadership experience guiding engineering teams through agile workflows
- Deep familiarity with state management patterns using Redux or RxJS
- Active use of large language models to support coding efficiency and knowledge sharing
- Solid understanding of modern JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems
- Experience with OTA deployment strategies for mobile apps
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex requirements
- Interest in backend technologies including Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or similar
- Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Cypress
