RemotePass is hiring a Head of Sales to lead our revenue growth. In this player/coach role, you will be responsible for fixing quota attainment, building a scalable outbound sales engine, and driving immediate revenue impact across SMB and Enterprise segments.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute a hunter strategy to generate a self-sourced sales pipeline.
- Target SME verticals and close large Enterprise deals valued at $1M+.
- Replace gut feel forecasting with data-driven accuracy.
- Diagnose funnel leakage and improve conversion from Opportunity to Close.
- Sell from the front by joining calls and demonstrating how to close complex deals.
- Coach Account Executives to run the entire sales cycle without Solution Engineers.
- Train the team on consultative selling techniques.
- Instil a high-performance, competitive team culture.
- Enforce BANT for SMB and MEDDIC for Enterprise sales methodologies.
- Tighten qualification standards early to stop wasting time on bad leads.
- Sync with Marketing on lead quality and messaging.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in the HR Tech / SaaS industry.
- Experience managing both SMB (Volume/PLG) and Enterprise (Complex/$1M+ deals) segments.
- A track record of building an effective Outbound sales motion.
- Uses AI to speed up workflows (AI Forward).
- Must be a builder/hunter, not a farmer.
- Strong consultative selling skills to navigate complex compliance and payroll discussions.
- Resilient and adaptable to evolving team structures.
Team & Environment
This is a player/coach leadership role where you will be responsible for doubling the AE count from 9 to 16 in Year 1.
