EX Squared is seeking a Head of People to own all aspects of our HR strategy and operations. This is a foundational role where you will build the people function from the ground up, directly impacting our culture and growth.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy aligned with business goals.
- Build and manage all core HR functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Design and implement competitive compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of a positive, inclusive, and high-performance company culture.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Establish HR metrics and reporting to drive data-informed people decisions.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably as a Head of People or similar.
- Expert knowledge of US employment law, with specific experience in Virginia state regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale HR processes and systems in a growing organization.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into effective people programs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience managing HR for a remote or distributed workforce.

This is a remote position open to candidates based in Virginia.
