EX Squared is hiring a Head of People to establish and lead all aspects of our people function. This is a foundational role for the first dedicated People leader, offering the opportunity to shape our culture and build systems from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive People strategy aligned with business goals.
- Design and oversee all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Build and refine people-centric policies, programs, and processes for a remote workforce.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
- Manage compensation, benefits, and compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Head of People, HR Director, or similar strategic leadership role.
- Deep expertise across the full spectrum of HR disciplines in a remote or distributed company.
- Track record of building or scaling people functions and shaping company culture.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance and employment law, particularly for Washington-based employees.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Work Mode
This is a remote position. Candidates must be based in and authorized to work in Washington state.
