EX Squared is seeking a Head of People to shape and lead our People function. In this foundational role, you will design and implement strategies that attract, develop, and retain talent, directly contributing to our organizational growth and culture.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and professional development.
- Design and implement competitive compensation, benefits, and equity programs.
- Create programs that foster a strong, inclusive, and high-performing remote culture.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leadership and managers on all people-related matters.
- Establish people metrics and analyze data to inform decisions and measure program effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of progressive experience in People/HR roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven experience building and scaling People functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert knowledge of US employment law, compensation practices, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing talent management, performance, and culture initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive people strategy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner at all levels.
- Experience supporting a distributed or remote workforce.
Work Mode
This is a remote position, but candidates must be based in Massachusetts.
