Responsibilities
- Make it easy for families to start therapy.
- Make it easy for providers to deliver therapy.
- Make it easy for Tellos to scale without breaking.
- Own the operating system of the company — from first referral to first therapy hour — and turn a complex, human-heavy service into something fast, reliable, and repeatable.
- Own the full chain: Referral → intake → assessment → authorization → staffing → scheduling → therapy start.
- Design workflows for credentialing, authorizations, and RCM that can scale across states.
- Create visibility into where revenue is created, delayed, or lost operationally.
- Turn tribal knowledge into clear processes.
- Replace chat-driven execution with structured operating rhythms.
- Build SOPs that new hires can run without constant supervision.
- Define and drive the metrics that actually determine company health: • Time-to-treatment • Provider utilization • Funnel conversion and drop-off • Authorization velocity • Cancellation and denial patterns
- Explain why they move — and what we do next.
- Make intake-to-treatment timelines predictable
- Reduce churn caused by operational friction
- Partner with Product to automate manual workflows
- Design operating models that support expansion from a handful of states to nationwide scale
- Identify where software can replace coordination work, reduce rework, and improve data integrity.
- Build and lead the operations team
- Lead intake, support, recruiting coordination, and operational program management.
- Set the cadence, raise the bar, and develop future operators.
Requirements
- Have scaled complex service or marketplace operations
- Are highly analytical but deeply execution-oriented
- Can create clarity in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Care about operational quality, not just strategy decks
- Hold people accountable while building trust
Nice to Have
- Healthcare or ABA experience helps. Operational judgment matters more.
