About the Role

Topsort is hiring a Head of Marketing to own marketing for our technical B2B SaaS company in the retail media space. You will be responsible for pipeline numbers, messaging architecture, and shaping our brand as you build and grow a team.

What You'll Do

  • Own Topsort's narrative, positioning, and messaging architecture across all segments and personas.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into crisp, compelling value propositions for enterprise buyers.
  • Drive product launches end-to-end from internal alignment to market rollout.
  • Design and scale a demand gen engine that generates qualified pipeline across enterprise and mid-market.
  • Own the full funnel: awareness, consideration, conversion with clear attribution and reporting.
  • Work closely with Sales to align on ICP, messaging, and pipeline targets.
  • Build and optimize campaigns across paid, owned, and partner channels.
  • Define and protect Topsort's brand voice and visual identity as we scale.
  • Own thought leadership strategy positioning Topsort and its leadership as voices in retail media and ad tech.
  • Manage PR and earned media relationships; drive coverage in relevant trade and business press.
  • Build and grow a community of builders, operators, and partners around Topsort's platform.
  • Own developer-facing content and communications like docs, newsletters, product updates, and community channels.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to create content that resonates with technical buyers and champions.
  • Lead and grow a small marketing team; hire strategically as the function scales.
  • Own the marketing budget and allocate for impact.
  • Build the systems, tools, and processes that let the team move fast without breaking things.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years in B2B marketing.
  • At least 2–3 years leading or co-leading a marketing function.
  • Experience at a technical B2B SaaS or infrastructure company.
  • Proven track record across both enterprise and mid-market GTM motions.
  • Strong product marketing instincts.
  • Experience building or scaling demand gen programs with measurable pipeline contribution.
  • Hands-on experience with brand, content, and comms.
  • Data-driven: you set targets, track what matters, and adjust fast.
  • Exceptional writer and communicator.

Nice to Have

  • Has built or nurtured a developer or technical community (even informally).

Team & Environment

You will lead and grow a small marketing team and report to the co-founders and founding members.

Work Mode

This is a global role. You can work from our hubs in Menlo Park, Boston, Santiago Chile, São Paulo Brazil, Barcelona Spain, or Sydney Australia.
