About the Role

Lead the development and execution of the global licensing strategy, managing a team responsible for securing and maintaining high-value partnerships across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement long-term licensing strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Negotiate and finalize licensing agreements with international partners
  • Monitor compliance with contractual terms across all active agreements
  • Identify new market opportunities for licensing expansion
  • Lead performance reviews of existing licensing partnerships
  • Collaborate with legal teams to draft and revise contract language
  • Manage financial forecasting and revenue tracking for licensing divisions
  • Oversee regional licensing managers and ensure operational efficiency
  • Develop key performance indicators to measure licensing success
  • Coordinate with product teams to align licensing offerings with development roadmaps
  • Represent the organization in high-level partnership discussions
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in all operating regions
  • Drive renewal and extension strategies for expiring contracts
  • Optimize licensing processes to improve scalability and reduce risk
  • Maintain relationships with external stakeholders and industry groups
  • Provide executive-level reporting on licensing performance
  • Support due diligence during mergers, acquisitions, or partnership integrations
  • Lead crisis management for partnership disputes or breaches
  • Promote cross-functional alignment between sales, legal, and finance teams
  • Evaluate partner performance and recommend strategic adjustments
