Responsibilities
- Define and execute the engineering vision for the LATAM region
- Recruit, mentor, and manage senior technical leaders
- Collaborate with global engineering leadership to align regional initiatives with company-wide goals
- Drive engineering best practices across teams
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software products
- Scale engineering organizations to meet growing business demands
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Establish performance metrics for engineering teams
- Work closely with product and operations to prioritize technical roadmaps
- Support cross-functional initiatives involving security, compliance, and infrastructure
- Promote knowledge sharing between regional and global teams
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies suited to regional needs
- Ensure engineering processes are efficient and scalable
- Lead incident response and system reliability efforts
- Champion diversity and inclusion within technical teams
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a technical field
- Experience leading engineering functions in Latin America
- Background in high-growth startups or scale-ups
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
