Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a team of ~20 engineers in a high-impact technical unit
- Combine strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in Python (or full-stack)
- Drive the architectural strategy and implementation of scalable solutions
- Promote a Linux-first and automation-focused engineering approach
- Ensure system reliability, operational efficiency, and high code quality
- Act as a player-coach: lead by example, mentor the team, and solve complex challenges
- Translate high-level product ideas into technical execution
- Build and nurture a high-performance engineering culture
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience, preferably with Python
- Strong Linux expertise - from internals to system-level understanding
- Deep experience with automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure tooling
- 3–5+ years in an engineering leadership role
- Successful track record managing teams of 15–25 engineers
- Ability to lead in fast-paced, product-focused environments
- Russian - native
- English - C1+
