Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the enterprise-wide data architecture and governance strategy
- Create scalable systems for managing data quality, master data, metadata, governance, and stewardship functions
- Develop future-state data architectures that support advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud-based data platforms
- Promote widespread adoption of data governance standards across business units and technical teams
- Collaborate with executives, architects, engineers, data analysts, security teams, and business units to align objectives and drive implementation
- Establish consistent standards for data intake, processing, storage, security, access controls, and data lifecycle procedures
- Advance the transition to modern data infrastructure, including data lakes, lakehouses, and real-time data processing systems
- Build and mentor a skilled team focused on data architecture and governance
- Ensure all data management practices comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
