About the Role

Samsung Electronics Canada is hiring a Head of D2C Content to establish the operational backbone of our new European centralized Content Centre of Excellence (CoE). In this pivotal role, you will act as the main liaison between our Suwon Office, EU16 Subsidiaries, and our appointed agency, ensuring all content processes, quality standards, and governance frameworks are delivered to the highest standard.

What You'll Do

  • Set up and lead a scalable, European centralized content CoE supporting all European D2C channels.
  • Align content creation, operations processes, and workflows with the agency, Suwon Office, and EU16 subsidiaries to hit SLAs and KPIs.
  • Manage the newly formed Content CoE of circa 80 people, ensuring Content Creation, Content Operations, and Chertbury Studio teams perform to the highest standard.
  • Manage the Content CoE budget and contract, identifying areas for efficiency and optimisation.
  • Own governance of the creative output, ensuring the highest level of creative is delivered.
  • Align all content, accessibility, shop app, and S.com guidelines with Suwon teams, ensuring 100% compliance.
  • Ensure creative direction, tone of voice, and brand guidelines are applied consistently across all content.
  • Build frameworks to measure content effectiveness and continuously optimise creative output.
  • Act as primary point of contact for the appointed CoE agency and as point of escalation for subsidiaries.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with the agency PMO to review processes, resolve bottlenecks, and drive efficiency.
  • Oversee agency adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
  • Provide consolidated feedback from Suwon office and EU16 subsidiaries to the agency to improve CoE output.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing between markets to promote best practices and re-use of content.
  • Present regular performance updates to senior leadership.
  • Partner with local market PICs to capture all subsidiary requirements, campaign calendars, and feedback.
  • Create, implement and continuously optimise briefing templates for JIRA briefing.
  • Design GSMC folder structure for all workflows and continuously monitor usage and optimise where necessary.
  • Work with the agency to identify and implement AI efficiency tools into standard processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience and/or Degree education in business, marketing, or sales.
  • Experience in content, creative strategy, or brand storytelling, ideally within a D2C operation.
  • Proven track record of developing engaging and premium content and marketing assets that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Deep understanding of digital culture, social platforms, and the evolving media landscape.
  • Exceptional creative judgment with the ability to balance brand storytelling with commercial objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience scaling large teams and building cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of content governance, workflows, and localisation requirements.
  • Excellent project management and process optimisation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across multiple geographies.
  • Organised, structured, and calm under pressure.
  • Experience in a fast paced, multi division, global company.

You will manage a team of circa 80 people, structured across three teams: Content Creation, Content Operations, and Chertbury Studio.

Work Mode
