Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end planning, implementation, and successful delivery of construction initiatives from initial concept through project closeout.
- Create and manage detailed project timelines and financial plans, tracking performance relative to defined objectives.
- Supervise the ongoing maintenance, functionality, and upgrades of organizational facilities to maintain a secure and productive workplace.
- Direct contracts and coordinate with external partners including architects, builders, and consultants, ensuring adherence to legal, safety, and quality requirements.
- Establish and enforce operational policies and protocols for construction and facilities units, emphasizing health, safety, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align facility changes with business operations and regulatory compliance.
- Lead, inspire, and grow teams within construction and facilities, promoting high performance and ongoing development.

The role leads the Facilities Team, which handles daily operational tasks related to facility management.

- All applications will be handled with complete confidentiality.
- Work involves supporting Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs).
- Any individual assigned to the SELT service must pass a Background Check acceptable to both the organization and the HO before starting duties.
- All SELT staff must complete a formal declaration form provided by the organization, disclosing any criminal history or bankruptcy.
- For SELT roles based in the UK, background checks include a basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check.
- For SELT roles in the UK, verification of Right to Work in the UK, including nationality, identity, and residence status, is required.
- For UK-based SELT roles, a Home Office security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard or Counter Terrorist Check) is mandatory.
- For SELT positions in the UK, a financial background review will be conducted.
- For SELT roles in the UK, employment reference checks are required.
- For SELT roles outside the UK, personnel will undergo background checks equivalent in rigor to those required in the UK.
- Personnel interacting with SELT candidates must have strong English language proficiency; where services are delivered outside the UK, fluency in the official language of the respective country is also required.
