Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is seeking a Head Golf Professional to lead the daily golf operations for our facility. You will oversee the Golf Shop, outside services, and tournament functions, ensuring operational efficiency and exceptional guest service while acting on behalf of the Director of Golf as needed.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Director of Golf in recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising all golf staff
- Control and manage guest check-in, fee collection, and play
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and reviewing golf revenues and expenses
- Assist in buying apparel, equipment, and accessories, maintaining adequate merchandise inventory
- Supervise and approve weekly payroll, timesheets, purchase orders, and invoices
- Oversee the rental and maintenance of golf cars
- Track and verify all players, guests, charges, and facilitate control
- Oversee the administration of the handicap program
- Enforce all rules and regulations governing golf course usage
- Assist in marketing and promoting new memberships and play
- Oversee the club repair business
- Supervise the Tournament Coordinator with tournament planning, execution, and follow-up
- Review tee sheets daily to maximize course usage and schedule staff for ample coverage
- Schedule golf employees weekly
- Act on behalf of the Director of Golf in their absence
- Maintain cleanliness of the hotel and golf areas
- Provide individual and group golf instruction utilizing Toptracer technology
- Analyze swing data and performance metrics to deliver actionable coaching
- Promote lesson programs, clinics, and Toptracer instructional offerings
- Ensure safety guidelines are followed during instruction and practice sessions
- Collaborate with Golf Operations and Toptracer teams to enhance programming
