Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is looking for a Head Pickleball Pro to lead the sport's operations at Wild Dunes Resort. You will be responsible for organizing and executing all pickleball programs, overseeing instructor development, and promoting the sport.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement training programs for pickleball instructors, covering technique, strategy, and game management.
- Organize and conduct clinics and lessons for players at all skill levels.
- Oversee court scheduling and ensure all activities are conducted safely and in an organized manner.
- Develop relationships with equipment manufacturers and suppliers to ensure the facility has the latest gear.
- Promote pickleball within the local community through marketing and outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with facility management to align programs with overall facility goals.
- Recruit, train, and keep new and existing instructors updated on techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, including attendance, revenue, and expenses.
- Provide excellent customer service to all program participants and members.
What We're Looking For
- Certified pickleball instructor or equivalent certification in a related sport.
- Strong knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, and strategy.
- Experience in managing and leading a team of instructors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Physical ability to demonstrate and teach pickleball techniques and strategies.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
