Group Operations Manager Full-time Primary Location: Northland Contract Type: Permanent Full Time Company Description: St John New Zealand has been serving the community since 1885. Role Description: Reporting to the Area Operations Manager for Far North, the Group Operations Manager (GOM) will directly lead, guide, mentor, and support frontline personnel in a provincial, rural, or remote area, including casual, relief staff, and volunteers. GOMs are responsible for delivering efficient and effective Emergency Ambulance Services within their District. The Group Operations Manager will manage multiple portfolio responsibilities and participate in Area Operations planning. The primary focus will be staff management and support, with incident management secondary and clinical response tertiary. This is a permanent position, working 40 hours, Monday-Sunday. Qualifications: These roles require demonstrated competence at tactical management levels, with the ability to concentrate on operational details and execute strategies. Candidates must be informed by a robust understanding of operational matters and possess in-depth knowledge of challenges within health and social care sectors.
