About the Role

The technician will execute test procedures, analyze results, and support hardware development through hands-on troubleshooting and data collection.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional testing on hardware components and systems
  • Document test procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Identify and report anomalies during test cycles
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues
  • Set up and calibrate test equipment as needed
  • Follow safety protocols during all testing activities
  • Support root cause analysis for hardware failures
  • Assist in the development of automated test processes
  • Monitor system performance under various conditions
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback
  • Track and manage test assets and inventory
  • Escalate critical issues to lead engineers promptly
  • Maintain organized digital and physical documentation
  • Adapt to changing project priorities and timelines
  • Work with cross-functional teams on integration testing
  • Validate system responses under simulated environments
  • Conduct pre-test readiness checks
  • Assist in writing test plans and acceptance criteria
  • Operate diagnostic tools and measurement instruments
  • Support continuous improvement of test methodologies
  • Follow engineering change orders during test phases
  • Verify hardware configurations before deployment
  • Participate in failure mode and effects analysis
  • Ensure test environments reflect real-world conditions
