AirGarage is looking for a Hardware Deployment Project Manager to act as the air traffic controller for every physical touchpoint of our hardware programs. You'll coordinate the deployment and maintenance of hardware systems by partnering with vendors, field engineers, and internal teams for each new facility. This role sits at the intersection of hardware deployment, field operations, vendor management, and partner success.

What You'll Do

Deploy and sustain License Plate Recognition Systems nationwide, owning the master schedule of all installs, repairs, and upgrades.
Manage budgets, purchase orders, and on-the-fly logistics to keep costs down and timelines tight.
Launch third-party occupancy cameras by coordinating vendors through site surveys, camera-position planning, and infrastructure prep.
Build vendor relationships to turn one-off installers into trusted long-term partners.
Funnel field insights back to the Hardware R&D team to suggest improvements and champion continuous improvement.
Implement digital access solutions by leading the rollout of facility access hardware.
Coordinate gate repairs and new hardware installs, and establish a preventive maintenance cadence.
Plan and schedule installs and repairs, maintaining a highly visible calendar and sharing status updates.
Lead and support a small but growing installation team, focusing on smart hiring, effective execution, and team development.
Generate detailed Scopes of Work and installation checklists.
Drive on-site execution by coordinating with internal or external installers in real time to track progress and unblock issues.
Enforce rigorous documentation such as Field Maintenance Logs, photo libraries, and post-install artifacts.
Optimize processes and tooling by spinning up 3rd party deployments for minor field repairs and tracking suspected hardware degradation.
Iterate on playbooks, SOPs, and dashboards to improve install velocity, consistency, and data quality.
Act as the primary point of contact for property owners, regional ops teams, and third-party vendors throughout each deployment.
Negotiate timelines, set expectations, and ensure every stakeholder is impressed with AirGarage’s professionalism.

What We're Looking For

A track record of juggling complex logistics—budgets, travel, equipment rentals—without dropping the ball.
3+ years of project management or field operations experience deploying hardware at scale.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to turn technical jargon into plain-English updates.
Proficiency with cloud-based project-tracking, documentation, and collaboration tools.
High-level technical intuition—can talk voltage, PoE, and network uplinks with engineers and installers.
Fiercely proactive and assertive—spots blockers before others do and rallies teams to solve them fast.
Ability to travel up to 25% to validate installs, audit vendor workmanship, and build relationships face-to-face.

Experience in PropTech, IoT, telecom, or similar industries.
