Responsibilities
- Configure, calibrate, and run various auxiliary binding machines equipped with multiple cutting heads, control panels, or add-on components such as inkjet modules, mailing systems, case builders, folders, cutters, collators, stitchers, drills, and adhesive binding units
- Prepare and operate automated bindery systems with multiple integrated stations, including powered cutters, collators, gatherers, folders, and high-speed binders, capable of being linked electromechanically to form a complete finishing line
- Produce finished materials such as books, catalogs, manuals, directories, and magazines from printed sheets using integrated production equipment
- Perform safety inspections on machinery to identify hazards and ensure compliance with operational safety standards
- Operate automatic perfect binding machines that process collated sheets or signatures through multiple stages including vibration, milling, surface roughening, adhesive application, cover attachment, and stacking
- Adjust and synchronize multiple workstations within a single machine to maintain alignment and efficiency across production stages
- Lead and supervise team members across all phases of bindery operations
