Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs related to Guidewire BillingCenter functionality.
- Create solution designs aligned with product specifications.
- Build new user interface screens within Guidewire Studio.
- Implement business logic and rules using Gosu programming language.
- Design and extend data model components as needed.
- Develop integration features including Plug-ins, event-driven messaging, batch jobs, Work Queues, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Conduct unit testing to validate component functionality.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks using GUnit.
- Modify or create front-end user interface elements.
- Provide effort estimates for configuration and integration tasks.
- Improve operational effectiveness through targeted system solutions.
- Resolve reported defects and production incidents.
- Perform performance evaluation and optimization of Guidewire BillingCenter.
- Work with cross-functional groups to refine insurance workflows using BillingCenter.
- Design and deploy enhancements that expand system capabilities and improve usability.
- Offer expert advice on system setup and customization to fulfill business goals.
- Ensure smooth integration between Guidewire modules and legacy systems.
- Execute comprehensive testing to verify accuracy and reliability of changes.
- Monitor system health and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Lead training sessions and workshops to build team proficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations and system changes.
- Work with stakeholders to collect requirements and shape technical solutions.
- Promote ongoing improvements to boost efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Manage timely rollout of system updates and new features.
- Partner with IT departments to uphold data accuracy and security standards.
