Lightspeed is looking for a GTM Payments Strategy and Operations Analyst to play a key role in shaping the future of our global payments platform. You will go beyond reporting to analyze root causes, uncover trends, and transform complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that guide our global strategy.
What You'll Do
- Lead high-priority strategic initiatives, such as modeling new market expansion opportunities, evaluating pricing structures, or redesigning key operational processes.
- Conduct in-depth research to support benchmarking, competitive analysis, and strategic reviews.
- Translate data and insights into clear, concise strategic recommendations and options for management.
- Support the implementation of cross-functional initiatives and key projects, ensuring alignment with overall company priorities.
- Gather business needs and translate business objectives into structured, quantitative solutions.
- Track and communicate the progress of key projects using dashboards, status reports, and stakeholder updates.
- Synthesize findings and extract key messages for key stakeholders, creating concise presentations for senior executives.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in a strategy, operations, or analytics-related role.
- Strong business acumen; ability to translate business needs into data requirements.
- Experience using data, insights, and financial results to clearly articulate outcomes.
- Proven ability to conduct in-depth research (benchmarking, competitive analysis) and inform strategic decisions.
- Proven experience driving cross-functional initiatives to completion, leveraging excellent communication skills to align diverse stakeholders in IT, GTM operations, sales, and marketing.
