Responsibilities
- Plan and implement daily lessons that are effective, tailored to student needs, and grounded in High Scope-based teaching methods.
- Work with families to help define and support academic goals for students.
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
- Foster a warm, supportive, and positive classroom atmosphere for every child.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a predictable and consistent daily schedule.
- Incorporate culturally responsive practices into teaching and interactions with students, parents, and staff.
- Maintain regular communication with families about each child’s academic progress and social-emotional development.
- Collaborate respectfully and constructively with colleagues, demonstrating humility and professionalism.
- Demonstrate understanding of ASQ assessment tools.
- Keep current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as needed.
