The Problem
36 million businesses in the U.S. require insurance, yet 77% are underinsured and 40% lack coverage entirely. The current distribution model is slow, opaque, and overly reliant on manual processes—over 90% of commercial insurance still involves human intermediaries. The company is building an AI-driven alternative that enhances human productivity, improves customer experience, and removes friction. With approximately 1,000 new customers added monthly and 100x growth over the past year, the focus is on accelerating growth further.
The Thesis
This role is central to scaling customer acquisition. You will define and execute channel strategy across known platforms and untested frontiers. Every decision impacts revenue directly. Success requires balancing spend with sales capacity, using real-time data to guide adjustments. Within 6–12 months, you’ll establish a portfolio of profitable channels, a repeatable playbook for expansion, and full visibility into return on investment.
You Might Be a Fit If…
You have managed paid acquisition for an insurance provider, agency, or insurtech, with deep knowledge of effective channels. You’ve owned budgets and performance targets, not just followed plans. You’ve launched and scaled a new channel from inception. You consider lead quality and sales capacity holistically. You are equally adept in campaign tools and data analysis, including CAC calculations. You apply first-principles thinking and thrive in uncertain, fast-moving environments. You are located in San Francisco or open to relocating.
The Process
1. People screen — Initial assessment of fit and alignment, 2. Lead screen — Evaluation of skills and cultural match, 3. Super day — Real-time demonstration of decision-making and operational style
To Apply
If you have launched and driven revenue from a marketing campaign, submit your resume along with an example of a channel or campaign you initiated, scaled, or discontinued based on performance.
