SearchApi is looking for a Growth Engineer to drive growth through hands-on execution, developer outreach, and automation. You’ll work directly with the CEO in a lean, bootstrapped team, with the freedom to experiment, learn fast, and directly impact revenue.
What You'll Do
- Find developers who could use our API, reach out, build relationships, and encourage them to try SearchApi and create content.
- Send a high volume of personalized, thoughtful outreach emails at scale.
- Use Ahrefs to analyze backlinks, find quality opportunities, and conduct link-building.
- Build workflows with n8n, Make, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks.
- Find and manage relationships with developers or writers who can create content about SearchApi.
- Help manage and experiment with paid campaigns when needed.
- Monitor competitors to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Figure out what works to move the needle and double down on those strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Automation-obsessed with experience building workflows in n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar.
- Genuine interest in AI and understanding of why developers use search APIs.
- Strong writing skills for outreach emails, documentation, and other communication.
- Comfortable with tools like Ahrefs, SEO tools, email platforms, spreadsheets, and APIs.
- Technical enough to call an API, read documentation, and understand how web applications work.
- Self-directed and able to operate without daily direction.
- Fluent in English for written communication.
- Scrappy problem-solver who figures things out using Google, YouTube, AI, and other resources.
Nice to Have
- Some experience in SEO, outreach, growth, or marketing.
