Mindshare, part of WPP Media, is looking for a hybrid Media Planner to join our team in Malaysia. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to client briefs, orchestrating inputs from strategy and specialist teams, and managing the planning and execution of campaigns. You will work within a competitive yet fun environment that combines excellent implementation with creative media thinking.
What You'll Do
- Respond to and follow up on client’s campaign briefs and requests, working alongside the team Manager.
- Orchestrate and support inputs from strategy, implementation, and specialist teams to develop innovative, business-building solutions for clients.
- Manage the planning, execution, and post-mortem of the campaigns briefed in.
- Engage with specialist partners to drive commercially viable media solutions.
- Build trust and meaningful relationships with clients, as well as relevant internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 1 year in media, digital, or marketing experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn with a passion to leverage opportunities from challenger to leading brands.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent personal and organizational management.
- Good interpersonal and social relations.
- Experience in handling marketing campaigns on mainstream media.
- Strong understanding of the cultural and consumer trends that are changing the media landscape.
Nice to Have
- Digital media experience is an added advantage.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Manager. The role provides the opportunity to learn and create leading work while working alongside specialist departments.
