Brand Boosting GmbH is hiring a Greece Country Manager / Technical Sales Manager to drive our food ingredients distribution in the Greek market. This is a dual-role position, combining 25% country management and 75% technical sales responsibilities. You will be pivotal in developing business strategies and ensuring operational excellence for our portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Further develop business in Greece, focusing on overall market performance and sales growth in the food industry.
- Ensure operational excellence and identify new opportunities for sales growth.
- Build and maintain key partnerships with food producers.
- Analyze market and product ranges to find new business potentials.
- Develop sales strategies and conduct business development for specified ingredients.
- Visit customers to analyze their needs and create compelling value propositions.
- Advise on ingredient applications and develop tailor-made recipes where required.
- Attend production trials at customer sites or conduct small-scale trials in an application kitchen.
- Prepare price offers and follow up on projects and customer payments.
- Align sales strategy for suppliers' product groups under the supervision of Springboard managers.
- Check legal requirements regarding certification, registration, labeling, and import.
- Maintain good relationships with our suppliers.
- Control internal business processes, including logistics, contracts, administration, warehouse, and software usage.
- Manage financial control, covering payments, exchange rates, and company costs.
- Coach and motivate employees.
- Generate profit.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Food Technology.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the food industry, in production or sales.
- Proven experience in B2B sales of food ingredients.
- The ability to solve technological problems and a passion for developing food products.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills; highly organized and reliable.
- The ability to motivate and guide employees.
- Strong negotiation skills and a positive mindset.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Greek.
- Readiness for travel.
- Strong business acumen.
- Proficiency as a computer user.
