Responsibilities

  • Create original and visually striking packaging designs for cosmetics, bath, body, and fragrance lines
  • Interpret and produce detailed specifications for primary and secondary packaging, building unified design series that strengthen brand identity and narrative
  • Maintain an orderly digital archive of artwork, keeping files current, properly stored, and easy to retrieve
  • Work hand-in-hand with product development, marketing, packaging, and procurement departments to transition ideas from concept to finished product
  • Produce final artwork files ready for printing, verifying technical precision and adherence to industry print standards
  • Coordinate with packaging specialists and external suppliers to confirm design compatibility with different materials and formats
  • Monitor evolving design trends, competitor activity, and new developments in packaging technology to maintain brand relevance
  • Engage with external vendors and printing partners to manage proofing and pre-press stages, ensuring accurate color reproduction and print quality
  • Design visual content for special releases, seasonal promotions, and marketing-driven packaging; support creation of 2D/3D mockups and presentation materials for internal and research use

  • Conceptualize and design innovative, high-quality packaging artwork for makeup, bath & body, and fragrance categories
  • Understand and make KLD s for primary and secondary packaging and develop cohesive design collections that enhance the brand s visual appeal and storytelling
  • Manage and maintain a well-organized artwork library, ensuring all assets are up-to-date, archived, and easily accessible
  • Collaborate closely with product development, marketing, packaging, and procurement teams to bring concepts to life, from ideation to final execution
  • Prepare and finalize print-ready artwork files, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with print production standards
  • Work alongside the packaging team and suppliers to ensure designs are feasible for various packaging formats and materials
  • Stay updated on design trends, competitive landscape, and emerging packaging innovations to keep the brand fresh and relevant
  • Partner with vendors and printers to oversee proofing and pre-press processes, ensuring color accuracy and quality output life.myntra.com
