Walker Morris LLP is recruiting a Graphic Designer to play a key role in rolling out our refreshed brand identity and bringing bold marketing campaigns to life. Your work will be varied and purposeful, contributing to major projects that underpin our ambitious growth strategy.
What You'll Do
- Produce impactful graphics and branded materials for both print and digital use, including brochures, adverts, social media content, and website graphics.
- Create high-quality artwork by meticulously artworking and proofing all deliverables against briefs, technical specifications, and spelling standards.
- Work with the Creative Lead to develop concepts and ideas.
- Collaborate with legal and business service teams to take briefs, create assets, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist with video filming and edit videos, creating animations using Adobe After Effects and Premiere.
- Utilize and manage our MARQ design software package, encouraging teams to be self-sufficient.
- Support the Creative Lead in collecting assets for Business As Usual (BAU) activities.
- Work within brand guidelines and act as a gatekeeper, monitoring design work across the business.
- Provide ad-hoc design support to the Bids team using Word, PowerPoint, and InDesign for tenders.
- Provide ad-hoc PowerPoint presentation design support to the Events + BD team.
- Manage print production for materials.
What We're Looking For
- Formal training and a professional qualification in Graphic Design.
- A portfolio demonstrating your ability to create visually compelling and effective designs executed to a high standard, with thorough proofing skills.
- 3+ years of experience working in a design agency or in an in-house design role.
- Excellent knowledge and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Proven experience interpreting briefs and bringing key messages and concepts to life.
- A high level of creativity and accuracy to create a suite of design assets that reflect our brand and uphold its reputation.
- An excellent understanding of composition, layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- The ability to comprehend and follow brand guidelines meticulously, with strong attention to detail and the capacity to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- A strong eye for selecting impactful photography and visual assets, with creative thinking to explore innovative visual approaches.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all colleagues.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically experience working within PowerPoint and Word to create client communications.
Nice to Have
- Experience in animation or motion design using Adobe After Effects.
- Experience in video production and editing using Adobe Premiere.

Team & Environment
You will join a small, talented Design team within the Marketing & Business Development department, reporting directly to the Creative Lead.
