Kentro is hiring a Grants and Fundraising Specialist to play a pivotal role in driving SubjectToClimate’s fundraising efforts. You will manage the operational and administrative aspects of funding initiatives, acting as a project manager for applications.

What You'll Do

Identify and research potential funding opportunities.
Monitor new requests for proposals and open grants.
Collaborate with the State Lead team to identify funding opportunities.
Maintain a detailed schedule of communications with funding prospects.
Share program updates with current funders and draft outreach materials.
Manage communications with the individual donor database to nurture relationships.
Draft compelling grant applications aligned with priorities and goals.
Coordinate feedback and letters of support for applications.
Manage feedback and submission processes.

Nice to Have

Experience coordinating fundraising campaigns, donor engagement strategies, or philanthropy initiatives.
Experience drafting, editing, and submitting grant applications.
Familiarity with the grant funding process, including research, compliance, and deadlines.
Communications background.
Proficiency in working in a remote environment.
Ability to balance working independently and collaboratively.
