Kentro is hiring a Grants and Fundraising Specialist to play a pivotal role in driving SubjectToClimate’s fundraising efforts. You will manage the operational and administrative aspects of funding initiatives, acting as a project manager for applications.
What You'll Do
- Identify and research potential funding opportunities.
- Monitor new requests for proposals and open grants.
- Collaborate with the State Lead team to identify funding opportunities.
- Maintain a detailed schedule of communications with funding prospects.
- Share program updates with current funders and draft outreach materials.
- Manage communications with the individual donor database to nurture relationships.
- Draft compelling grant applications aligned with priorities and goals.
- Coordinate feedback and letters of support for applications.
- Manage feedback and submission processes.

Nice to Have

- Experience drafting, editing, and submitting grant applications.
- Familiarity with the grant funding process, including research, compliance, and deadlines.
- Communications background.
- Proficiency in working in a remote environment.
- Ability to balance working independently and collaboratively.
