SGS Australia / Fulcrum Robotics is hiring a Regional Sales Manager (Food)

About the Role

SGS, a company recognized as the global benchmark for quality and integrity, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the food industry. You will generate revenue by utilizing a consultative selling approach, cultivating new business and developing long-term partnerships. Your core responsibility is to assess customer needs and create solutions based on SGS's product portfolio to achieve sales targets.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve sales revenue goals in a defined sales territory.
  • Manage all sales activities including audits, training, and full solutions within the territory.
  • Develop and implement an agreed-upon business/marketing plan to expand the customer base.
  • Work within sales and support teams to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals.
  • Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads in the CRM system.
  • Sell and make recommendations to prospects and clients on SGS solutions.
  • Generate proposals in compliance with Accreditation Body and product sector requirements.
  • Maximize opportunities to take market share from competitors.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities.
  • Gather and submit detailed business information for pricing.
  • Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Participate in and contribute to the development of client educational programs.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with all support departments.
  • Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans.
  • Include appropriate International Sales or Account Managers on Global Key Account opportunities.
  • Adopt safe behavior regarding health and safety of employees and clients.
  • Comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
  • Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in the TIC industry certification sales focused on the food industry.
  • Experience with ISO standards.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the Certification industry.

  • MS Office Suite

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: USD 70,000 - USD 92,500 yearly
