About the Role
The role involves delivering electrical substation design solutions using Revit and other engineering tools, focusing on power distribution and transmission projects for clients in the energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed electrical designs for substation projects using Revit software
- Produce engineering drawings, schematics, and layout plans for power systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on infrastructure development
- Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and safety codes
- Support project execution from concept through to construction documentation
- Perform calculations for load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination
- Review and validate design outputs from team members
- Coordinate with civil and structural engineers on integrated solutions
- Assist in the preparation of technical specifications and procurement documents
- Participate in design reviews and client meetings
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Adapt designs based on site conditions or client requirements
- Troubleshoot technical issues during project lifecycle
- Apply digital modeling techniques to optimize substation layouts
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes
