Join a dedicated team focused on advancing federal grant and agreement operations with a strong emphasis on accountability and regulatory adherence. In this role, you’ll coordinate the full lifecycle of funding mechanisms, from planning and submission to closeout, ensuring alignment with federal policies and congressional mandates.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of a comprehensive Annual Agreements Plan to track all active and upcoming grants and interagency arrangements.
- Act as the primary administrative liaison for grant applicants, recipients, and federal officials, providing clarity on funding announcements and award processes.
- Support the preparation and processing of agreement packages through review, legal clearance, and funding allocation stages.
- Generate status reports, monitor delinquencies, and assist in responding to data calls and oversight requests.
- Collaborate with budget and finance teams to confirm proper obligation and use of awarded funds in compliance with appropriations rules.
- Provide technical guidance to federal staff in structuring both funded and unfunded agreements that meet legal and financial standards.
- Participate in and summarize outcomes from grant-related meetings, briefings, and coordination sessions.
- Maintain certification as a non-federal program officer and support federal program officers on non-inherently governmental tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least six years of experience in grants management, federal financial assistance, or interagency agreements.
- Familiarity with federal funding regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and evolving priorities independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive for document creation, collaboration, and data tracking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on accuracy and professionalism.
- Proven experience supporting senior leaders and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
- Ability to maintain sensitive information securely and follow or improve standard operating procedures.
- Must be able to pass a National Agency Check (NACI).
