Mass General Brigham is looking for a Grants Administrator I to support groundbreaking medical research. In this role, you will work directly with Principal Investigators and Department Administrators to develop grant submissions, perform budget forecasting, and monitor fund statements. You will function as a key liaison to grantor agencies and provide essential guidance for navigating the research proposal and submission process.
What You'll Do
- Process and prepare research grant proposals, awards, and transactions, maintaining grant/contract records in compliance with institutional and sponsor requirements.
- Assist with budgets, justifications, and materials for financial reporting.
- Review proposals for compliance with sponsor and organizational guidelines, verifying all requirements are met.
- Process purchase orders, manage accounts receivable/accounts payable, and resolve accounting requests.
- Take ownership of managing an assigned portfolio of research departments and serve as the primary Pre-Award/Post-Award resource for department administrators and PIs.
- Monitor expenditures and assure budgetary compliance; verify, identify, and evaluate excessive charges; and advise on the allowability of costs to be charged to a grant.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's Degree in Financial Management or a Related Field of Study
- 1-2 years of research administration experience

Benefits & Compensation
- Annual Salary Range: $63,648.00 - $90,750.40
