Allegheny Health Network is hiring a Graduate Nurse for the 12A Telemetry unit at Allegheny General Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for a designated patient population, providing care based on the nursing process. You will professionally direct and manage patient care delivery, working within a team that places patients at the center of all they do.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrate clinical assessment skills and care planning skills.
- Provide safe and effective care for the age population served according to regulatory requirements.
- Professionally direct and manage the activities of patient care delivery by team members.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for the plan of care from admission through discharge.
- Assess learning needs of patient and family and provide education based on age, culture, and willingness to learn.
What We're Looking For
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) or license eligible
- CPR certification

You will join the 12A Telemetry team, a 24-bed unit at Allegheny General Hospital.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at Allegheny General Hospital.
