Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Golang Developer SDE-II to contribute to challenging product development projects. You will play a key role in designing, architecting, and implementing scalable, efficient software solutions that shape our technical vision and deliver impact for high-profile initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Drive adoption of engineering best practices to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Actively participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver business-critical features.
- Design and implement architectures and solutions for new and existing projects.
- Experiment with and introduce relevant new technologies, tracking their impact.
- Ensure adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and industry coding standards.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institution.
- 4–6 years of experience in a product development company.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in Golang.
- Expertise in data modeling, low-level class design, and object-oriented programming.
- Hands-on experience with databases and Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work in collaborative teams.
- Familiarity with SDLC processes and experience integrating new technologies into production.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals.
Nice to Have
- Additional experience in Python and Java.
