What You'll Do
Lead the design and execution of onboarding programs that rapidly prepare new sales hires to engage confidently with prospects. Develop training that shortens ramp time and strengthens long-term performance.
Collaborate with product and marketing to shape initiatives that expand customer acquisition and support. Turn advanced database capabilities—such as distributed SQL, high availability, and temporal data handling—into clear, persuasive value propositions tailored for real-world sales conversations.
Create competitive battlecards focused on differentiating the offering from major players like Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and AWS Aurora. Ensure sales teams are equipped with up-to-date, practical resources to win in competitive environments.
Enhance the efficiency of sales operations by optimizing CRM (Salesforce) usage and integrating enablement platforms such as Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Conga, and Clari. Use data to identify skill gaps and lead targeted improvement workshops.
Serve as a liaison between frontline sales and leadership, bringing field insights into product and marketing planning. Help align roadmaps and messaging with actual market demands.
Deliver scalable training through digital learning platforms, including MariaDB University, and track effectiveness using engagement, completion, and certification metrics.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in sales enablement, training, or high-performance sales roles
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to lead virtual and in-person sessions effectively
- Proven skill in converting CRM data into targeted learning interventions
- Background in selling database technologies, analytics solutions, or open source software and services
- Ability to distill technical content into concise, executive-level messaging
- Deep familiarity with CRM systems, reporting, and sales workflow automation
- Firsthand understanding of the challenges and rhythms of modern sales roles
