3M is looking for a Global Procurement - PMO Specialist to provide Project Management Office leadership for our Global Procurement organization. You will manage PMO goals aligned with Enterprise Supply Chain strategies, lead project execution for cost savings, and drive pipeline management and process improvement.
What You'll Do
- Provide Project Management leadership for assigned 3M Business Group and Category Pillar and Projects.
- Manage PMO goals and objectives to ensure alignment to Enterprise Supply Chain strategies.
- Directly engage with 3M Business supply chain leaders and Procurement category leaders globally to achieve Procurement productivity goals.
- Directly interact with 3M stakeholders in Lab, R&D, Operations, and Enterprise supply chain to accelerate execution of productivity projects.
- Work closely with sponsors and key stakeholders to ensure achievement of program goals, including cost savings projects.
- Create detailed project plans with key deliverables and milestones.
- Use and develop project management best practices and tools.
- Work across organizational boundaries and influence others to achieve project goals.
- Develop and manage an effective pipeline management cadence to track cost.
- Lead Procurement metrics reviews such as Bi-Weekly Pipeline Review and Stage Gate.
- Lead hopper filling and gap filling sessions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support each category team to drive key KPIs around cost through pipeline development and reporting.
- Manage internal category communications.
- Incorporate change leadership in programs to ensure stakeholder adoption.
- Drive process improvement projects around the savings pipeline process.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher completed and verified prior to start.
- Six (6) years of combined experience in Procurement, Project Management, and/or Supply Chain in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Raw Material, Outsource Manufacturing, or Indirect Procurement Category Management within Manufacturing based companies.
- Strong data analysis, negotiating, and problem solving skills.
- Initiative, self-starter with a positive and pro-active approach.
- Experience successfully collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on complex projects.
- Process improvement and project management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
