Manage a global category of raw materials such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, flavors, and sweeteners
Assess spending patterns, cost factors, market dynamics, and supplier ecosystems to develop and execute a sustainable procurement strategy
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with current and prospective international suppliers
Classify and assess suppliers by quality, service, and value, conducting regular performance reviews and executive-level discussions
Lead global cost-reduction initiatives and meet productivity goals
Use data analysis to uncover opportunities for optimization, simplify processes, and promote standardization and consolidation worldwide
Work closely with international internal teams to align sourcing plans, timelines, and business goals
Lead complex international procurement tenders (RFX), negotiations, and contract management, addressing pricing, supply continuity, service levels, legal, and intellectual property risks
Proactively identify supply risks, forecast price movements, and ensure long-term availability of critical materials

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, supply chain, procurement, engineering, operations, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in a global setting
Familiarity with key raw materials and ingredients used in nutrition or food production
Proven experience in building and managing relationships with international suppliers
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams across different regions
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken; German proficiency is a plus
Strong analytical mindset, structured approach to work, and solid project management skills

Experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or food industry is advantageous
