We are looking for a Global Payroll Lead to own and execute our end-to-end payroll operations across the US and multiple international markets. In this highly visible role, you will ensure accuracy, compliance, and scalability for our global team as we grow.
What You'll Do
- Own and execute end-to-end global payroll operations in the US and across multiple countries, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing.
- Collaborate with internal teams (People, Finance, Legal, Accounting) and external vendors to manage data collection, processing, and reporting.
- Maintain a strong understanding of local tax, social security, labor laws, and compliance requirements in every country where we operate.
- Drive payroll calendar adherence and ensure all critical deadlines are met for funding, reporting, and filings.
- Review payroll inputs and outputs with a high level of accuracy, reconciling data to ensure alignment with financial systems.
- Partner with the Accounting team during month-end and year-end close to reconcile payroll accounts and support audit requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to streamline, automate, and scale payroll processes and controls.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of payroll experience with a proven track record managing multi-country payrolls across the Americas, EMEA, and/or APAC.
- Deep knowledge of global payroll compliance, taxation, and labor regulations.
- Experience working with third-party payroll providers and internal systems like ADP, Excel, and G-Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with strong analytical, reconciliation, and Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and drive multiple initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills — clear, professional, and empathetic when working with employees and partners globally.
