Genworth North America Corporation is hiring a Global Mobility Manager to oversee and execute our global immigration and employee relocation programs. In this role, you will ensure compliance with immigration laws, manage vendor relationships, and support associates and HR Business Partners through complex mobility processes.
What You'll Do
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external immigration counsel to manage visa petitions, green card processes, and compliance requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to HR Business Partners, Managers, and associates on immigration policies and procedures.
- Monitor changes in immigration law and assess their impact on company policy and associate status.
- Support Talent Acquisition Team with I-9 audit and E-Verify compliance and manage escalations as needed.
- Administer domestic relocation programs, including policy review, vendor oversight, and associate support.
- Ensure relocation offerings remain competitive and aligned with market trends.
- Manage exceptions, cost approvals, and escalations related to relocation packages.
- Lead efforts to streamline the immigration process and relocation workflows.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Legal, Payroll, and Finance to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Provide recommendations to business leaders with effective communication and confidence.
- Lead and motivate others while embracing and driving change.
- Provide exceptional service to internal business with the ability to handle escalations, diffuse difficult situations, and respond to business requests with a strong sense of urgency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in immigration, relocation, or global mobility program management.
- Understanding of U.S. immigration processes (H-1B, L-1, PERM, I-140, I-485, etc.) and relocation practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with immigration case management systems and HCM platforms (e.g., Workday).
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR or GPHR Certifications.
