Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary expert in shaping and refining global mobility and immigration initiatives to ensure compliance, scalability, and a uniform employee experience worldwide.
- Continuously research and disseminate updates on immigration regulations, visa criteria, and standard practices to HR partners and staff.
- Manage the full lifecycle of global mobility, business travel, and immigration cases with efficiency, timeliness, and a focus on positive employee engagement.
- Lead the creation and ongoing enhancement of global mobility policies, aligning them with local legal frameworks and organizational goals.
- Proactively identify potential obstacles and collaborate internally and externally to deliver effective, forward-thinking solutions.
- Act as the main contact for HR partners, external legal advisors, and employees, maintaining clear communication on case progress and minimizing follow-up needs.
- Coordinate closely with outside legal counsel to ensure accurate, timely information sharing and alignment across all parties.
- Partner with People Operations Specialists to integrate immigration and mobility workflows with broader people operations, including onboarding, payroll, and benefits.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Compensation, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Legal to ensure seamless case resolution.
- Develop and apply scalable, structured methods for case handling to improve efficiency and reduce last-minute, urgent requests.
- Create a systematic process for gathering and evaluating cost data related to immigration and mobility, including relocations, visa expirations, renewals, and new filings, to support financial planning and leadership decisions.
- Evaluate and enhance existing processes to promote proactive communication and greater visibility for stakeholders.
- Regularly collect input from stakeholders and adapt strategies as needed to align with evolving business demands.
